🦀 Ford C Max 2.0 Tdci Oil Filter Change

"I am about to purchase a 2014 Ford S-Max 2.0 TDCi Powershift with 85,000 miles on the clock for my son (private seller). It appears to have been well looked after and had the PowerShift transmission serviced last year (fluid and filter change). I need the car to last at least five years and my son, who will probably do about 15,000 miles per year.

After unscrewing the very stiff filter lid I removed the old filter which was very dirty and sucked out the rest of the remaining diesel in the bowl. I replaced O ring and fit the new filter into the lid, screwed the lid back on then with a large syringe, I refilled the filter housing through the top bleed screw hole.

Please note: all work on the car – FORD C-MAX (DM2) – should be done with the engine switched off. Replacement: fuel filter – FORD C-MAX (DM2).
