My TV has an in-built Dvd player on the side. I haven't used for years but earlier I tried it and the DVD has gotten stuck inside, it won't eject. There's all the noise of the motors trying, but it doesn't come out. It doesn't have a tray, its the kind that is just an opening you push the disc into. Any advice? Thanks in advance
First, make sure that the power is turned on to the DVD player. If it is, then press the eject button. If the DVD player still does not eject the disc, then you may need to unplug it for a few minutes and then plug it back in. This will reset the suburban DVD player and may cause the unit to eject the disc.
Aug 2002. beautiful. Half a year ago when I got my first -R/-RW/-RAM drive (LG 4020B) I encountered problem with my favorite DVD Decrypter when burning iso files. It often stucked at 99% and nothing could even shut it down (except pressing RESET on my box). I read later that DVD Dec. had some probs with drives supporting -RAM format, and
Expand CD/DVD from the list. Right click on the DVD drive click uninstall. Restart your PC and check if the DVD drive is ejecting by itself. Let me know if this helps! Have a pleasant day ahead! 🙂. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal. Usually there's a liitle hole below (or next to) the drawer of the DVD-slot. This is the hole for the emergency release. Fold out a paper clip and stick it in there until the drawer opens up a bit. Then carefully pull open the drawer.
