Two players playing PtDE on PC, one at 30 FPS and another at 60 with DSFix, can play online together no problem. So can Dark Souls 3 players on PS4 and PS5. I think you have a much bigger problem in it being a different remaster entirely. The switch version isn't a port of the other remasters.
Started DS 3 again on the Ps5, just to look how it runs and man! It's hard to play BB after DS 3 on the 5. Everything seems so blurry from further distance and when you move the camera around. DS3 on PS5 runs amazing, miles ahead of PS4 Pro performance.They're two different games. Dark Souls 3 runs fine on ps5 because the game was built for multiple platforms, that account for a variable framerate, so animations and timings aren't linked to FPS. It functions the same at any frame rate.
